    Bio

    Rick Barton Jr, the WLVS Initiative founder, has actively been a Personal Trainer/Coach since October 2016. At that time he was working along with Equinox in Beverly Hills, California certified by NASM.


    In gaining his expertise at Equinox,  he narrowed down the wide spectrum that is fitness into a focus on Body Weight Training. Rick saw plenty of injuries with people lifting improperly due to poor mechanics along with lifting loads greater than what they were capable of. Most importantly he didn't see any variety in the workouts people conducted by themselves.


    So he started The WLVS Initiative to share the knowledge he believes we should have received long ago concerning our mind, body, and spirit. 


    In this initiative, we plan to give back to the community by concentrating on the Habits we conduct with our bodies. The goal is to gain a greater sense of our Autonomy better known as self sufficiency.
